Since the PA Turnpike and I-95 are not directly connected, the interstate highway network is incomplete in Bucks County and the Greater Philadelphia region. If the PA Turnpike/I-95 Interchange Project is constructed, it would create a more efficient highway network by:
- Reducing travel distances
- Reducing travel times
- Reducing accident rates, as a result of reducing travel time
